chilledbear 16
This is taken from FF posted by Kaiserbear53 Expect a response from Mr King in the next few days but it won't be until after the Game on Saturday as Mr King does want not to take the focus off the team and be blamed for protests and the anger that will come. As expected and as has already been stated, the current board have spat in the face of Dave and this attempt to under mine the restructuring and sort our club out once and for all will soon come to a resolution. The board will try and palm you off with a membership scheme which some may buy into but bide your time bears and bearets, listen to what Mr King has to say about the shiftiness off this move and make your own minds up. Kaiser _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Its what will happen, The information will be released through the press association as he is still in South Africa. Next week the battle begins. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Without breaching trust here to much? King was not satisfied, he was patronized and was fobbed off therefore played the board at their own game, he know's they are unprofessional and not capable of running the club short - mid or long term, what King done was simply give the board and CEO enough rope. They made public assurances which have been breached, do you honestly think a man who has spoken to his children and told them, this will be your inheritance, this is what I am doing, is going to let the current mob who couldnt organize a prayer in a mosque away with it? Have faith. I have no idea how true or who the poster is.
Super Cooper 0
John on SSB last night said King will make his statement Tuesday or Wednesday. He also said Wallace will reveal 120 day review around same time.
der Berliner 3,742
Party politics again. No-one knows what happened at the meeting, so you can buy King's word (via "some people in the know") or not. What has the board done since that meeting to anger anyone? Put the ST stuff and prices out, which was to be expected? Is there anything that stops people from buying their ST in two weeks or three months from now? Haven't read anything about deadlines or whatnot, so where is any pressure on the paying customer here? EDIT: Just saw on FF that the 28th is the deadline to let the ticket office know that you intend to renew, whereas the deadline for doing it seems to be May 6th. So enough time after the 120 day review is out. They propose a "membership" scheme, not many details et al, still something many of us would look forward too? Especially if money is ring-fenced (much like King wants with ST money)? That's not something heinous, as is intimated. Obviously, if anything the board does and says is essentially tainted and regarded as lies, there's no point in discussing it.

Ummmm, unless I am mistaken, the Board PUBLICLY agreed to release the 120 day review PRIOR to ST renewals.... so, what have they done to anger anyone ? How about telling bold faced lies for a start. Not good enough. If you think they should be given yet more time, ala Whyte, good for you - but this Board have demonstrated time and time again that they are NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE

The 28th is the deadline for those being auto renewed to tell the ticket office that they do not intend to renew, that date is irrelevant to those not being auto renewed who have until May 6 to decide.

Is anything they say to be taken as sacro-sanct? Hence they tell lies when changing their opinion? Are we baclk to black and white? Imagine you tell your wife and friends that you want to buy that new car next month and you decide otherwise? Does that give them the right to call you a liar from now till the end of eternity? A bit of reason should remain, even if they reneged on things stated previously. And thanks for bringing Whyte into the fray again. FS will be frolicking. (EDIT, ah, he already is.)

And thanks for bringing Whyte into the fray again. FS will be frolicking. (EDIT, ah, he already is.) Yes. If they say "the 120 day review will be released prior to ST's needing to be renewed" then, yes, it should be sacrosanct as you like to put it. Bold faced lies with hidden agendas. If there was no hidden agenda why did Wallace not say "we apologise for not having the 120 day review released prior to ST renewals as had been previously stated" ? You think it is just a minor omission ? You think it was just an "opinion" when they said the review would come first ? What you call opinion is another man's promise. It was a statement that this is how it would be done. I can appreciate that things move.... however, what cant be forgotten is that this Board can determine when ST renewals take place - and they could have ensured it took place AFTER the review is released, nothing to prevent them..... oh, wait, other than maybe a cash shortage and a impactless review. Reneged on this stated previously ? That seems to be the only consistence with this Board - not producing what they say they will produce. Your naivety at times is startling, especially with what has gone before with Whyte.
amms 0
Hang about dB, you asked what had the board done to anger people, someone tells you and you say 'ah but' and make some spurious comparison with your husband buying a car. If the club's directors want the support to trust them then they really need to start sticking by their statements. Saying one thing and doing another tends to make people wary.
BrahimHemdani 1
Ummmm, unless I am mistaken, the Board PUBLICLY agreed to release the 120 day review PRIOR to ST renewals.... Not quite, Craig, unless I'm mistaken, they said that the review would be issued before the ST deadline; so they still have 17 days to do that; and rumour has it, it will be next week. Whilst Wallace has shot himself in the foot at least 3 times that I can think of; it would be incredibly stupid of him to miss this deadline; so I can't see that happening.
