Jig is 36 next month. His best days are well behind and is too slow at CB for this level. McCoist extended his £10k p.w. Contract til the end of next season - not the best use of valuable resources in my opinion

Agreed, but not helped by having one of the worst central defensive partnerships in the last 20 years either. Jig and Mohsni are now essentially a settled partnership who've been playing together all season, but I can't remember the last time I saw a settled Rangers center back partnership which was as vulnerable as that pairing. Neither of them are good enough for our top flight return by a long shot.

 

They make Svensson and Hemdani look like Gough and Butcher.

I have never rated him. He is a mediocre utility man that never excelled in any position.
