BrahimHemdani 1
By the way, I regret to say that there was a great deal of F***** B*** and B******* and FTP being sung behind the goals at our end on Saturday; very disappointing that this is creeping back in. barca72 440
I know from discussion on the JRG that this is a very real problem for the Police. If a group of say 6,12, 20 officers try to arrest a large number of folk in a crowd then a riot will ensue and the police will lose the battle. Thtat's also why police and stewards can do nothing about people standing up when they should be sitting down. What they do is (a) arrest a conspicuous offender and (b) later use the cameras to try to identify and arrest the people concerned away from the match. It might not satisfy a lot of people but that really is as much as they can do unless they don riot gear or bring in the army as they do in some other countries. Who rules whom here? I remember a U-tube video of about 12 police with batons drawn charging into BF-1, either at the beginning of this season or the end of last season. I find that, lack of resources, to be a poor excuse. The police have shown that they can shut down an under-20 game if they feel they require the resources, and the club won't pay for them. Either force Celtic to pay for the required resources or shut down that portion of the ground for which they will not pay coverage. If a law is being broken, and todays sentencing verdict proves that it is, then enforce the law at all times, not selectively.

barca72 440
Write to Roseanna Cunningham. She wasn't at the meeting when they decided to close the doors on the U-20s.
BrahimHemdani 1
She wasn't at the meeting when they decided to close the doors on the U-20s. No but she is the Minister in charge.
barca72 440
No but she is the Minister in charge. The point is they don't need her to close a ground or a stand. Just the match commander's will to be seen to be fair across the board. Deflecting to the Government won't cut it.
RANGERRAB 3,743
Write to Roseanna Cunningham. She'll be very disappointed indeed at the growing number of yahoos being prosecuted by this legislation nowadays. Not what it was intended for Roseanna was it?
