Fears for the future at Ibrox as chairman David Somers admits:

What is being said here is that the possibility of a ST boycott ITSELF creates material uncertainty of the kind that means that the possibility that the club is not a going concern is something that has to be considered. These are subjective accounting and auditing considerations that could have led to adjustments to the accounts. This sentence is critical

BH - a lot of this is subjective.

For example, a smart way to have done this would have been to point out categorically to Deloitte the publicised threat of a season ticket trust - but refer to it as a boycott.

Deloitte then would have no option but to comment on this in their accompanying report.

Somers can then stand up and quote a professional firm as recognising the threat of insolvency in the event of a boycott.

Job done.

Not saying this is what happened, but it's a possibility.

As I've always suspected and as Wallace himself pretty much said today said, in the course of the full review he's made new discoveries and the situation has evolved.

I'm sure the chap Nash - the guy who's actually leading the business review for Wallace - has made various new discoveries and reported them to Wallace, so technically that will be correct, but when combined with the old "situation has evolved" chestnut those types of comments are little more than evasive nonsense.

Doesn't sound too unreasonable does it?

What's unreasonable is that Wallace knew fine well 4 months ago that the Club's cost base needed addressed as a matter of priority because he said so in no uncertain terms pretty much immediately when he arrived, but here we are 4 months later starting to take on debt which will eat a chunk out of next season's working capital with no tangible signs of the excessive cost base issues having been addressed effectively.

He pretty much said today that in the course of his review he made discoveries he wasn't aware of at first, do you really grudge him that bit of faith?

No way does that crap wash with me mate. Not from you, from Wallace. Sounds like a deflective pathetic excuse.

Might sound evasive but sometimes that's what happens, makes sense considering a full review is happening.

The guy doesn't have a magic wand, he suggested a 15% wage cut across the board but nobody wanted to consider that (as was their entitlement), he considered selling Lee Wallace but that caused an outcry. He's overseen the exits of Stockbridge and Irvine who were both believed to be on a high wage, and he's finalised Ally McCoist's wage cut. I think there's slow and steady progress being made but not all things can happen overnight.

So do you think in the course of doing a full review of a business he and the vast majority of the board were new to, that's unthinkable?
