der Berliner 3,749
Old Firm Youth Details AFTER consultation with Celtic, Police Scotland and the SPFL the decision has been taken to play the forthcoming home and away SPFL Under 20s League matches against Celtic behind closed doors. This is primarily due to the high level of police presence dictated by Police Scotland and the resulting costs of such required policing. Super Cooper 0
An absolute disgrace. Reeks of Celtic running scared. Of us and their own fans disgusting reputation.
der Berliner 3,749
club can't afford it? They usually play either at Auchenhowie or Lennoxtown, not the greater stadiums. That said, these will be title deciders and gather more attention.

bluebear54 0
club can't afford it? The police presence that Police Scotland would insist on would very probably make it unprofitable.
Super Cooper 0
The police presence that Police Scotland would insist on would very probably make it unprofitable. Not so sure, if it was to be at Ibrox and the Piggery i am sure the crowds would be in their thousands, possibly tens of thousands. The interest would have been huge had it been open to the public. Old Firm title deciders, even at that level.
bluebear54 0
The bill for policing an Old Firm game would make your eyes water. If you got a crowd of - say 10,000 @ £10 per head, that wouldn't come near it mate.
26th of foot 6,084
I believe Dunfermline have defeated ra Sellik 1-0 this evening. Thus, if Rangers can win/draw against third placed Hibs tomorrow, we go top of the league. Good luck to the young Bears.
trueblue 64 57
After the Firhill game last season at under 17 level the police will be insisting on full old firm police levels. These games have the potential to draw large crowds. The right decision IMO.
