bluebear54 0
are any of the fan groups going to respond? Or, have I missed their statements? I haven't seen anything. As I said, my view is that the UOF should step into the PR void that exists at present. After all, it was a slur against our fans.
chilledbear 16
That is up to the SFA. It's their tie, and they are arranging policing, security etc. This has nothing to do with Rangers. It's an SFA Cup semi final! The ticket situation yes. When their are false allegations about the safety at Ibrox and the Rangers Support, I would take that personal.
The Real PapaBear 0
What passes for the leadership at Rangers should be writing to both Dundee Utd FC and the SFA asking for clarification of Mr Hugh's comments and demanding to know whether Dundee Utd concurs with those comments. If they do, we should be asking for further clarification as to why they do; if they don't we should be asking for them to condemn or at the vesy least disassociate themselves from the comments.

Dundee United Chairman made the "Ibrox is unsafe for families" first, then the Arab un-Trust-worthy Chairman followed his lead with his shameful statement. Rangers should make an official complaint to the SFA (as it's was a Scottish cup matter) against those two reprobates imo. It's gone beyond football matters and they have made it a personal attack on the club and supporters.

Any allegations/insults against us should be taken as such, and an apology, retraction and reprimand demanded. Otherwise I was pointing out what I believe are the differences between an SC semi final at Ibrox and a normal home game. I'm pretty sure that the SFA will be responsible for much more than ticketing - such as security etc.
ian1964 10,777
SEMI FINAL TICKET INFORMATION 21 March 2014 Ticket sales commence on Monday 24 March at 10am, to season ticket holders in the first instance. Voucher C will be required to secure your order although there will not be a restriction on the number of tickets ordered. An initial limited allocation of tickets is being provided and unless these are completely sold out by 1 April, we will not be given any further tickets. It is essential therefore that supporters place orders before 1 April to ensure their seat and ensure maximum backing for their team. We have been advised that the initial allocation of tickets will not be delivered to the Club until Thursday 27 March at the earliest and that no further tickets will be provided unless these are sold by 1 April. In order to extend this sales period and ensure support for the team is maximised beyond this initial allocation, sales will commence on Monday 24 March, with tickets to be collected or sent in the post once received from the SFA. If our initial allocation is sold out before or by 1 April, further sections of the stadium will be made available to Dundee United. Director Derek Robertson said, "It is not the ideal solution, but not uncommon. What is important is that every single United fan who wants to attend this game and support the team is now in a better position do so. That is why I encourage each and every fan to act swiftly and secure their ticket at the earliest possible opportunity. "The Club fully appreciates that the deadline date of 1 April is a potential problem for some, but we have been advised that should we not sell our initial allocation by this date, no further allocation will be forthcoming. This is a fabulous opportunity to reach the Scottish Cup final so ensure your ticket, get behind the team on the day and do your bit to help achieve glory!" Sales commence on Monday 24 March at 10am to season ticket holders only. General sales commence Friday 28 March. Tickets in the initial allocation are priced at £15 Adults and £5 Concessions (under 16 over 65 and Students. Students will require to show matriculation card on uplift of tickets.)
