BrahimHemdani 1
You see, I have an issue with how you word (2), (3) and (4). I detect a negative tone to your wording with regards to Mr King's motives. And if (1) is genuinely the case isn't that great for all of us? If we believe that (1) is the ideal outcome then why not at (2) "fan power will have won", instead of " King will claim"?At (3) - why is it "he will urge fans to invest" instead of "fans will have a level of confidence to invest"? For (4) - "the ST trust scheme will be abandoned (at least by him)" - I don't get that comment at all. King said last week it would be a last resort. Fans see it as a last resort. How about one element to the bet? King will not do anything that the fans don't agree with (apart from a certain element who don't like him from the outset ). I included the various references to Mr King because his statement is the subject of the thread. I can only repeat that I do not question Mr King's motives. In answer to your references to (1) & (2) I do not think that the fans will have influenced the plan in any meaningful way. The bet as you suggest in your final sentence would be impossible to prove so I think it's best left as a friendly disgareement. That said I if I lose the bet as I put it, I will make the donation anyway.
