BrahimHemdani 1
Some kind of virus apparently but quite worrying now that it's been going on for a good few weeks.
Zappa 0
Rangers FC Official @RFC_Official 33m AMcC on Lewis Macleod - He received some results this week and he will be going to see a specialist. We'd love him back.
Zappa 0
Not sounding too great. You normally don't need to go and see a specialist after getting results if you're ok.
simplythebest 0
Couldn't see him displacing Black or Law anyway, do we know the extent of Black's injury yet?
Zappa 0
Friday, 28 March 2014 10:40 Mac's Condition Has Improved Written by Andrew Dickson LEWIS MACLEOD’S condition has improved as he recovers from a virus but Ally McCoist admits he’ll only return to action when doctors say he is ready to play. The Scotland under-21 international last turned out for Rangers two months ago in the 3-2 win over tomorrow’s opponents Arbroath at Ibrox. Since then he has been laid low by a condition which has caused concern among the Light Blues coaching staff. Macleod was in hospital for tests last week and the results showed he is finally on the right track again. But having been out for so long McCoist is clearly wary about rushing him back before he’s ready to play a part in his team. Macleod had a good first half of the season and scored five goals, including spectacular efforts against East Fife and Ayr United. But 2014 got off to a mixed start from him as he scored the winner then hurt his calf at Airdrieonians on January 2. Since then he has struggled and McCoist will tread carefully with the 19-year-old as he makes his way back to full health. The manager said: “We got the results back from the doctor on Wednesday so our doctor is sending them down to one of the specialists down south. “There has definitely been improvement which is good news and the doctor says his condition has got better. “We’ll see what the specialist has to say now. It’s obviously a concern when he hasn’t been playing but it’s no more than that. “It’s a problem which has been well doctored and monitored by our medical staff and those at the hospital. “I don’t know when we’ll have him back. It goes without saying I’d love to have him playing again. “But with something like this when it’s a viral thing there’s no way you can put a time limit on it. “We’ll be advised and more or less told what to do with Lewis because his health is the most important thing.” http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/6626-macs-condition-has-improved
