forlanssister 3,114
Didn't know that. Admin must have settled because the security subjects weren't sold. I think Trueger above was meaning the surplus of the realised value over the amount of the loan. Don't think it was settled as such just that the contract carried on as normal.
Zappa 0
Close Leasing. Is that what the remaining "two finance lease agreements totalling £1.6 million" mentioned in the most recent accounts are? What was that all about again? Was that Craig Whyte hiving off catering equipment or facilities or something?

Yes the mortgaging off of the income from the catering contract.
der Berliner 3,747
I stated a fact. If we go into admin it passes to him. As of last Friday his security was registered. Much of what I read here and on FF assumes that it is him owning Edmiston House now. When all that is being done is a security being registered, as would probably been the case with any other loan of that sort. The rest is all ifs and buts and maybes. Has anyone seen the papers as yet?
Zappa 0
Yes the mortgaging off of the income from the catering contract. Right, so it was the actual income from Elior which was mortgaged. Presumably that's still ongoing then and would currently be classed as a debt. In fact it was an existing debt the whole time while Green was running around telling everyone who would listen to him that we were debt free.

bluebear54 0
A gentle reminder that the doyen of investigative journalists, Alex Thomson, got it wrong. Wednesday has come and gone, and unless he knows something we don't, Rangers are not in administration. We should remember how accurate he is when he makes his next scoop.

Wednesday has come and gone, and unless he knows something we don't, Rangers are not in administration. We should remember how accurate he is when he makes his next scoop. He actually posed a question rather than claiming that it would happen: "Rangers to go into Administration on Wednesday? At least one senior Glasgow accountant is saying so tonight."
