Frankie 8,580
A lot of the people who signed won't have a season ticket. I'd imagine the bulk will be season ticket holders but there will be a fair portion of those who are not. For this stick to become a really useful weapon, the numbers need to be closer to 20,000. Until that happens, I'd say King's hand isn't very strong. Unless of course, he can get more institutions on board than McCollco did.
Frankie 8,580
I don't think they could afford a 15 percent drop. But we certainly need much more to put them under any real pressure. If we get enough books in trust you can be sure the club will activate smart cards one game at a time as the money is released. A 15% cut in income would hurt any business but if these people are all about the assets then they'll welcome any reduction as to offer another secured loan. This is where it gets difficult for King. How much is he hurting in the club while actually helping the so-called spivs?
the gunslinger 3,366
A lot of the people who signed won't have a season ticket. True. I don't for example but I will if this goes well. Hope it does. So that's another thing that needs clarified. How do I go about this. Do I apply to the club then put my money into trust or will the trust do it for me.

They will get them regardless. At worst he will make a convenient excuse. He may however stop them. Though if they are really determined no one will.
Frankie 8,580
I can't see the club being willing to accommodate this - unless the extra administration costs are met by King. These won't be cheap.

At 20 it would be all over for the spivs. But it's probably doable with less.

You apply to the club and you don't give them one of their approved methods of payment then your application goes in the bin.

Maybe. But will they really throw 5k in the bin. Or 10 or 20. Anyway I will put my money in the trust and then we can send a note saying. Look what you could have won.
bluebear54 0
If - and I say if - season ticket sales were to drop anyway next season (say by 5k) and we factor in the 5k already pledged, that's significant.
