andy steel 0
Sad to hear on the radio last night the suggestion, more or less, that if the game were held at Ibrox the Tartan Army would become slavering bigots, blasting out the full songbook to annoy the Irish.
Gribz 829
Play it at Murrayfield.
Super Cooper 0
Is the atmosphere better at Parkhead than it is at Ibrox? They certainly have a point about capacity difference, financially Celtic have had the upper hand since they rebuilt their pit.

The atmosphere for a Scotland game will be different to a Rangers or Celtic match at Ibrox or Parkhead, so Id say its an irrelevant argument. Ive never been to Parkhead so cant say if its got a good atmosphere or not, it probably does on CL nights but it would have to be amazing to match Ibrox when its rocking. Give the national team a national feel and take the game to Edinburgh, Murrayfield. Blows all arguments away then and has a 67000 crowd.

Parkhead does have a fantastic atmosphere when it's rocking, largely due to the (enforced) architecture of the place; the bowl-like structure with the very steep rake of the stands creates an intimidating environment both visually and accousticaly, as it means that the noise is contained within the stadium. There would be a economic case for getting rid of the dump that is Hampden and playing all our games at Murrayfield - although we'd have to change the name

I sort of disagree tbh, Parkhead i would say is probably more intimidating for opposition players no matter who is playing. I agree about Murrayfield mate, should be a no brainer.
