Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Lucas Neil was on something like £60k a week at West Ham. I'm sure there's even worse examples of dire players getting crazy wages in that mental league.

Luis Boa Morte was on 80k a week at West Ham and Big Sam is the 13th highest paid manager in the world.

Sam Allardyce is all that is wrong with British football. Hasn't come close to winning a significant trophy but gets paid millions to play horrific football.

Did he not once say he could manage any team in the world?
the wasp 0
Vastly over-rated. Flashes of brilliance. The sale to 'Spurs was great business. Didn't do well there. Spurs never allowed him to play his marauding ,swashbuckling type game.Their loss. Would take him back to Ibrox in a flash(if we could afford him)

Money's out of control in football.

I have no problem with the elite of any craft making huge amounts of money. The top talents of any industry will always be suitably paid and most sports are the same. Messi and Ronaldo should get paid a fortune. Middle of the road plodders in the Premiership should not get superstar salaries. In the likes of La Liga, wages tend to get paid proportionately based on ability and level. Players towards the bottom of the table are not that highly paid.

pete 2,511
I remember he used to have McGeady in his back pocket for most games and could attack down the wing as well.
