Hildy 0
Keep your powder dry folks. It is not that Albion Rovers cover themselves in any sort of glory either: They didn't make that up. It's true. How do you feel about clubs which tried to finish Rangers off? Are you ready to forgive and forget? These things run deep. After all that has happened to us, you must surely realise that.
BrahimHemdani 1
I'd say Albion Rovers have two reasons now to take a pop at us and both entirely legitimate. If they ever needed any motivation for the cup tie then they have it now.
the gunslinger 3,366
nonsense clubs like albion rovers drag Scottish football down. what have they done in that 50 year reprieve? finished bottom of the pile 30 times and little else.

That doesn't answer my points which are that we tried to put them out the league 50 years ago and we have insulted them by not even getting the right Albion in the advert. They have stayed afloat that's what they've done. They don't have any pretensions to grandeur. Scottish football drags itself down without any help from minnows like Albion Rovers. Just take a look at the empty seats at Tannadice on Sky News last night.

They could have all the motivation in the world mate, they still won't be beating us.

amms 0
Is this for real? If so it's quite appalling; whoever signed off and/or placed that add should be sacked immediately. There really is no excuse at all for that. A typo or the wrong date can sometimes be explained if there was a copy deadline looming and something was rushed through, but that's unforgivable.

That's a poor post GS, football is about emotion and affection as much as economics. Albion Rovers are no more a drag on Scottish football than any other side.

Albion Rovers are no more a drag on Scottish football than any other side. They get crowds of a couple of hundred. That's barely any emotion. If they had gone no one would care or have noticed.
