You say they aren't that old, but Hutton would be over 30 for our top flight return and Bougherra would be 33+. There isn't a major problem for us to be playing aging 30+ defenders if they're good enough, but they are definitely not all of the same standard as David Weir. I think Davie Weir was 36 when we signed him and Madjid Bougherra turns 32 some time this year.
