RANGERRAB 3,653
Even if we offered Hutton 50% of his wages, we can't go back to the days of paying players £20k a week when they aren't worth it. Not sure I'd agree with you. Villa need Hutton playing somewhere in order to get him off their books, even if that meant the loaned club paying nothing of his wages for six months or so. He's contracted til the end of next season with Villa as I understand

RANGERRAB 3,653
Oh God no, i already feal sorry for the lack of service and help we give him, putting him in that defence would crush the poor lad. Last season Ally extended Jig's £10k p.w.contract until the end of next season 2014/15. Not the best use of resources I'd have thought. I think Jig is beginning to struggle as age now catching up with him, especially as he's being asked to play at the back & I doubt he'll last that long in the first team

He is fast becoming a liability and looks done. I want him back up front, i don't like him anywhere else.
the gunslinger 3,366
jig isn't on 10k a week. when he signed the new deal he took a pay cut. he dropped in wages immediately for the remainder of the season and from then on. not that we should have given him a new deal regardless.
chilledbear 16
Not a chance. Why would you put your top scorer in defence ? He did with Jig.
chilledbear 16
We need a spine for the team, I would say we don't have one of the three we need.

He dropped from almost £20k which was his pre newco contract.

Bell, Black nor Daly can be considered a good enough spine for where our club needs to go.
