Rangers fans shouldn't expect Scottish Cup success - Aberdeen are still favourites

If you are in it you always have a chance. From what I have read Aberdeen are good on the break but not so good in making the play. Rangers won't be as attacking as the tims probably were, so hitting on the break will be harder for them. I think to beat us, they will have to close us down quickly and make the pace of the SPhell tell as DU and Calley did last season. If they let us play at our pace we will beat them as happened against Motherwell last season.

'Sellik' also played two men very wide in Samaras and Forrest. Both were murder and Aberdeen totally bossed the middle of the park with Robson almost bullying their midfield and Pawlett dominating. If we played them we would have to meet fire with fire in the middle I think.

I would still fancy us as joint favourites as the moment for 2 reasons. 1) The kind Quarter final draw means we should reach the semi's. 2) The semi is at Ibrox.

Looking at the FA cup this weekend you wouldn't say the top 3 in England right now are FA cup favourites - Id put Liverpool and Everton up there with Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal due to the draw plus the CL coming up so its not always the highest league positioned teams who are favourites.
