If you don't pick managers on previous record and reputation then you may as well list everyone attainable then close you eyes and stick in a pin to choose your next man. Besides, sometimes you have to think outside the box and bring someone in with a fresh viewpoint. How much did Arsene Wenger know about Arsenal?
