chilledbear 16
My report on the game http://rfcyouths.wordpress.com/2014/02/04/under-20s-remain-top/ Do you think any are worth a run in the first team ?
elfideldo 411
With the level we are playing at all of these players should be able to play in the first team, not all at the same time of course.

With so many players on good money I cannot see many being dropped in favour of younger lads. Even Smith, Cribari, Hutton, Little etc are probably in front of them.
SteveC 150
I need a "sadly agree" button for that, chilledbear Elfidelo - your reports are very much appreciated. Many thanks.

Most likely. That said, may I ask how good our u20s' opposition actually is, quality-wise?

I think elfideldo is saying, just about as good as the first team are playing.
der Berliner 3,884
Yeah, I was asking about the quality of our opposition in the u20s league. Plummers or not, our first team's opposition is littered with ex-SPL professionals and former youth players, Brechin's goalie was one of ours despite his career went "downwards" from then on. So these people, at their standard, have been playing football all their life. Are e.g. 16 to 19 year old Saints players close to that, the odd talent aside?
Tumshie RFC 0
I doubt any of them will get a chance under the current management team.
calscot 0
I doubt any of them will get a chance under the current management team. Yeah, the management NEVER pick our academy players for the first team, just ask: Fraser Aird Darren Cole Robbie Crawford Scott Gallacher Luca Gasparotto Chris Hegarty Kane Hemmings Kyle Hutton Andrew Little Lewis Macleod Kyle McAusland Barrie McKay Andrew Mitchell Kal Naismith Ross Perry Daniel Stoney Tom Walsh Oh wait...
