Super Cooper 0
There would have been more at the Ramsdens Final had they chose a bigger ground.
calscot 0
I would have expected 50k for the Ramsden final. 42k of us 8k of Dunfermline. For the league cup, 23k max - 18k Aberdeen and 5k ICT. I think we can tell it's deliberate. Firstly, they would never give us home advantage, secondly, they don't want us trashing CP, thirdly they want to keep our income low. For the league cup it's just more money in Celtic's coffers plus trying to maintain the illusion that it is a premier ground as well as keeping them on the map. They can't give it to us as they need to keep our income as low as possible.

The Real PapaBear 0
RPB - please don't refer to cp as the "meccanodome". Meccano is capable of building sound small-scale structures whereas cp is short life repair as you go. You are of course completely correct. Not only have I traduced the good name of the model construction kit, I have, by comparing it to that hideous, cheap, second- rate, janefield Street botch job, opened the forum to charges of libel and defamation of a product. My sincerest apologies to all concerned, Sir. It shan't happen again.
TheWee BlueDevil 0
This cup final is as good as it's going to get for the sheep. I can see them turning up in big numbers and actually believing they are any good. Deluded lot that they are. Just glad that hateful shower are not coming to Ibrox for this.
der Berliner 3,747
I would have expected 50k for the Ramsden final. 42k of us 8k of Dunfermline. I have a distinct feeling that there will be much less Pars fans about. Not least because they have no reason to support Raith Rovers
Gribz 850
Cracking decision as I didn't want to see Aberdeen win at Ibrox, and it shows once again how totally incompetent those running the game are. Easter Road for a Rangers cup final with 36k season ticket holders and a 60000 ground for 2 teams who have about 10000 ST holders put together.
ian1964 10,724
Raith chairman Turnbull Hutton backs decision to host Ramsdens Cup Final at Easter Road 31 Oct 2013 09:57 RAITH take on Rangers in the final next April and Hutton reckons Hibs' ground is the perfect size for the occasion. RAITH chairman Turnbull Hutton has hailed the SPFL’s decision to host the Ramsdens Cup Final at Easter Road – rather than a half-empty Ibrox. The Starks Park chief claimed the financial benefits of playing the lower league showpiece at the 51,082 capacity Light Blues stadium doesn’t add up as not enough fans would fill it. Raith will now travel to Edinburgh to face Ally McCoist’s side on April 6 and Hutton is adamant having Hibs’ 20,421 capacity ground as the venue is a victory for common sense. He said: “I didn’t see the logic in having the game at Ibrox unless we all knew beforehand where the final was going to be played. “I can’t see the logic in having the final played at the home ground of one of the finalists. It should be a neutral venue. “I hear the argument of there being a lot more money generated but I’m not convinced there would be 40 or 50 thousand fans at Ibrox. “It will be a better occasion for the participating teams, TV audience and the sponsors if you are playing at a packed stadium at a neutral ground.” http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/raith-chairman-turnbull-hutton-backs-2659594
