Good shout about Crawford, only not to teams like Stirling or East Stirling. Would be good if he could go to the likes of Carlisle.

OK guys, while I don't expect much movement in or out at the Gers today, what's yer thoughts on who could/should come and go...

 

I'm hopeful we'll retain Lee Wallace but think we should be looking to move on fringe players as well as ensuring game-time for any younger lads to aid with development.

I think Gasparotto will most likely be kept with us to try to help the U20 team win the league.

 

I think we'll keep Simonsen to warm the bench because Scott Gallacher will probably play as number 1 keeper in the U20 team with Liam Kelly as his deputy and players like Crawford might even feature for the U20s too if still here.

 

If Shiels goes on loan, it wouldn't surprise me if it's to Cappielow.

Strange as it is to say this - but i for one will feel rather uneasy about the second half of the season if we don't manage to loan players out of the door. There is a lot of chat about the finances etc and i cant help but think we need to get some sort of reduction before the end of the window.

 

I really think we need Lee Wallace to stay but given hes the only one that has been the subject of bids - its a bit of a worrying time!

The only interesting thing about this is if it is a joke.

 

Why are we wasting resources on him? I couldn't care less where he is with his fitness and badges. As long as he gets a laugh with Jig and Ally then off for nandos and a few pints who cares eh/

I don't really follow your train of thought on that because Simonsen is contracted to play for us till the end of the season and doesn't have any real value, whereas Wallace is on a long contract and does have value in the transfer market.
