SteveC 150
As forlan said, it's clear as mud. Sounds like his share options amounted to him being entitled to £500k worth of shares, but we don't know if he got them or not. Well it could be made clearer from their point of view, were they to say he wasn't getting his 200k one year salary pay off if they forgot to ask for his 200K league two winning bonus payment....

forlanssister 3,114
So Stockbridge and Green both departed with payoffs in excess of what they were contractually entitled to.

The way I'm reading the info we have, which admittedly isn't very detailed, is that he was paid the remainder of his salary for the year, which would amount to roughly half of his annual salary, so about £100k.

BrahimHemdani 1
Clear as mud in the prospectus. A contractual payment would not be considered ex-gratia or a bonus. or on 6 month’s notice Absent agreement to the contrary i.e. "mutual agreement" (and subject to the actual agreement not what is recorded in the prospectus, which is ambiguous at least in relation to the bonus and shares) , it would appear that he was contractually entitled to 6 months salary; I would regard anything above that as either ex gratia or a bonus or some combination of the two.
barca72 440
So Stockbridge and Green both departed with payoffs in excess of what they were contractually entitled to. It's worth it if that was the only way we could have got rid of them. Now we have a chance to build the team properly.
