I am not even convinced a Durrant or McDowall would have done. It should have been Ally and Wallace, no one else.

I was thinking Ally or Stockdale or that level of management, not the football coaches. I am sure my CEO would not be the one to deal with a wage discussion. He would pass it on to one of the head nodder's.

Football clubs are not normal businesses and the CEO is a very different position. Making wage reductions to the whole squad is a very significant thing that should have been proposed by Wallace himself.

 

You would think we might have learned the last time our Chief Exec didn't talk directly to the players about their contracts.
