BrahimHemdani 1
a warning shot from ally to the board. ally realises we are a football club do the board? I don't think he's in a very strong position to be firing warning shots at the Board, do you?
the gunslinger 3,366
Actually I do. Or rather I think the board are in an extraordinarily weak position with the fans.

The Board will do what the Board are going to do to get the expenditure down, because that is the only way to get new investment from the institutions; otherwise they may have to go back to the moneylenders etc. They will tell the fans that this is what has to be done, weak posititon or not.

I will bet good money it's not dumping super. They don't have the gravitas or cahones.

That's another agreement then (up to 2.5); they have halved his wages and so long as he wins this division and the next then he is safe for a while yet.

BrahimHemdani 1
Even if crowds fall further? There will be a limit no doubt and I would expect crowds to fall once the league is tied up and we're playing the same teams for the fourth time; but equally the prospects for a good, exciting league next season are high and I would expect record season ticket sales (so long as they are sensible about any price increase) as it will be the last step in our climb back to the top.
andy steel 0
If they are happy to keep Ally, then for God's sake get some coaches in to work under him and improve the standard of play. Owen Coyle is free atm, I think.

Maybe we could get one here http://www.mfa.gov.pl/en/news/real_madrid_trains_polish_unemployed_teachers_to_become_football_coaches. As part of a Polish-Spanish initiative, Real Madrid specialists are training a group of unemployed people from the Lodz Voivodeship to become football and basketball coaches.
