This old gent is apparently very well known - a lot of people who know him, including relatives, have been n the thread now, confirming the story. I find it sad if true that the thread is then hijacked by a sob story to deflect away from the op. Some folk got carried away in a manner akin to the atmosphere after a nasty OF defeat. It is due time to screw the heads in again and start looking at the future a bit more objectively.
