RANGERS’ league trip to play Stenhousemuir at Ochilview has been rearranged for Sunday, January 5.

 

The match was meant to take place on Saturday but it was cancelled around two hours before kick-off in horrendous weather conditions.

 

Storm damage to a temporary stand erected behind one of the goals and flooding in and around the stadium made it impossible to put the game on as scheduled.

 

Now Gers can look ahead to a clash with the Warriors after tricky away fixtures at Dunfermline Athletic and Airdrieonians.

 

Those games come after the Light Blues’ next game, the home meeting with Stevie Aitken's in-form Stranraer team at Ibrox on Boxing Day.

 

The tie with Stenny will be played at 3pm and this time it has not been selected for live television coverage.
