barca72 440
There was a pretty effective de facto one that took place at the time was there not? At the time of purchase? What was it?
forlanssister 3,114
At the time of purchase? What was it? How many season tickets were renewed before the original deadline? Is the better part of forty thousand people holding back their season ticket monies not a de facto boycott?
TheTinMan99 0
What could you have done about it? Organized a boycott? I wouldn't dream of telling anyone what to do with their money. I can only speak for myself. I stopped contributing to the 'cause', and voiced my displeasure on the internet. A majority opinion is fairly difficult to fight against. I understand why people continued with their support of the club, it just wasn't for me. When someone publicly states they are here to fill their big Yorkshire hands, I take them at their word. I don't pat them on the back, and say thanks for saving my team.

Effective, eh?

Bluedell 5,737
How many season tickets were renewed before the original deadline? Is the better part of forty thousand people holding back their season ticket monies not a de facto boycott? Surely it was more to do with the fact that many of us couldn't actually buy them (lack of credit card facilities, was it not?) rather than any sort of boycott?
TheTinMan99 0
You're back now though, even after he's done so. I haven't put a penny into the club since Green walked in the door. This will continue until I'm satisfied that everyone connected to the original 'sale' is cleansed from the club. Green may be gone, but his ghost remains.

Engaging on an internet forum is not the same as financially backing the club. You are to be commended for sticking to your principles.
barca72 440
Green certainly thought so, eh? He was absolutely desperate for McCoist's backing.
