the gunslinger 3,366
A shame he didn't examine the contracts the last time he was on the board when we hit financial meltdown on multiple occasions. contracts looked good. must have been our debts went from 49 million to 14 under him.
Calgacus 8
Which one? The one with MediaHouse, the one with Keith Bishop Associates or the one with Newgate Threadneedle? All of them!
Calgacus 8
I sometimes think this Ashley stuff is just wishful thinking by Newcastle supporters - he's not very popular with them (or at least the Geordies I know, don't like him)
forlanssister 3,114
I sometimes think this Ashley stuff is just wishful thinking by Newcastle supporters - he's not very popular with them (or at least the Geordies I know, don't like him) When he first floated Sports Direct he had massive corporate governance issues (and to a certain extent still does), it took a trashing of the share price by the market till he saw the error of his ways.
RANGERRAB 3,877
Don't care what anyone says. A man with his wealth owning Rangers is exactly what we need.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
contracts looked good. must have been our debts went from 49 million to 14 under him. Which he had nothing to do with. I'm not sure how many times I have to tell you that it was the bank that cut the debt.
Super Cooper 0
Which he had nothing to do with. I'm not sure how many times I have to tell you that it was the bank that cut the debt. Muir aided by AJ and of course Smith.
RANGERRAB 3,877
Which he had nothing to do with. I'm not sure how many times I have to tell you that it was the bank that cut the debt. The bank which seemed determined to cut Rangers debt but not the massive MIH debt? Rangers debt was 3% of the MIH debt when you-know-who bought us. Ever wondered why?
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Muir aided by AJ and of course Smith. AJ and Smith were given no money to spend. Hence how the debt was cut.
RANGERRAB 3,877
AJ and Smith were given no money to spend. Hence how the debt was cut. And of course LBG's Scottish business division was run by Fullerton & Kane at that time. Guess who they support? MIH had debts of more than £700m. They were more interested in Rangers £18m debt and how they could use this to help their club. And they did
