calscot 0
If they were normal rivals I'd be looking forward to playing them again sometime but these days I don't know if I would care if we never play them again. At the same time if they normal rivals I still wouldn't wan to play them till we were on a level footing. Why hand them a loaded dice for winning the bragging rights?

MikeN63 0
Arthur the name old firm is now dead and we will never be associated with septic in any friendly manner again . when were we ever associated with them in a friendly manner? however if you can look from a professional footballers perspective surely they must live for the big games, so when we last season went to Peterheed, QP, Elgin City, etc and this season Ayr Utd, East Fife etc, that is their players dream games. on that basis, given that our players are F-T players they must be gagging for a draw against our evil rivals, I'd love us to play them, cup game at Ibrox, man try getting a ticket for that if you don't have a season ticket? what would we have to lose, nothing at all? bring it on, I'm with Numan, Rangers great, maybe a little out of touch, but a man who loved a challenge.
54andcounting 0
Personally I'm longing for a game against them, but not sure about beating them, it's probably how a useless gambler feels - get your money on it and lose more of your cash - I think I'd rather wait a while even until we get back in their league (and it is theirs) then we'll be 'ready' for them at that time (I hope!) no cup games for now please.
RANGERRAB 3,830
if we can move out 2 or 3 in january & bring in 2 or 3 for the positions which need strengthening then we've nothing to fear from them. They're weaker since last season & will be even weaker by the time we're back in the same league as them. Trying to sign players to play in a one horse race with the prospect of hee-haw in a CL section doesn't seem quite so appealing now does it?
MikeN63 0
any time from now, with a home tie, we could spring a surprise on them, we have nothing to lose, bring it on, that feeling in the pit of the stomach, that only they (and big CL games an bring on) has been gone for too long, I'd love them in the next round.
jaws 0
Mike agree with that, i hate them with all my heart but look at the way Scottish football was once sold to investors in Scottish football it was the old firm . Now septic can not beat us on the park , lieswell and the media tried to destroy us to ensure they play in the champions league . That is what i meant by friendly . So get them to FUCK .
