craig 5,199
@STVRaman reports from my family in Amsterdam is that it was Ajax ultras dressed in Celtic clothes who attacked the police Sounds good. I await us being exonerated for Manchester as it was clearly Zenit fans in Rangers tops that caused the bother there too.... Muppet !
Juancornetto 1
Seeing the Scottish phuppets scramble around for ways of deflecting blame from the poor wee selleek fans is hilarious. All round Europe people are watching drunken Tims attacking the police, smashing bottles over their heads and trashing a city square but the usual suspects have no comment other than to call "whataboutery".
54andcounting 0
Hold on folks it was merely an "Ajax-Celtic disorder" according to BBC Scotland http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/scotland/
ian1964 10,761
Slightly off topic, however I wonder if this will make the front page like the (so called) Rangers fan held a knife up to Lennons' picture?
ian1964 10,761
UEFA have said they have received no official reports of offensive behaviour by Ajax or Celtic fans during Wednesday's Champions League match. The governing body will take no action against either side after its match delegate did not mention any incidents of improper conduct during the game. During the fixture, a banner was unfurled in the Ajax end with the words "fe***n ba*****s", with a photograph of the flag circulating on social media sites. Press reports on Thursday also claimed visiting Celtic fans had been involved in "sectarian chanting" aimed at Ajax boss Frank de Boer during the 1-0 defeat in Amsterdam. UEFA however have received no reports from their match delegate at the game and, as such, no disciplinary action will be opened. "There has been no mention of any incidents during the match," a spokesperson for the governing body told STV. "No disciplinary action will be taken." Thirty-nine arrests were made in the city following incidents between supporters and police before the match but UEFA have no jurisdiction over events which occur away from the stadium footprint. http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/c...-celtic-match/
