Seeing as Aberdeen have had a similar wage bill to us of over £5M, I don't think I'm going to take any game against SPL opposition for granted, especially when you think how Aberdeen have performed in recent seasons (and with managers that some think are miles better than McCoist).

 

And as most SPL clubs would be wary of an away game against Falkirk (don't they have a great footballing philosophy? Surely that makes them a good team? No?), I don't think I'll be counting the chickens.

 

I expect us to win, but don't expect it to be easy.

Where is you proof that Aberdeens wage bill is anything close to £5m? Which btw is nowhere near ours.

 

Falkirk are not the same team they were under Pressley, they have lost several of their better players and also lost a very good manager.

 

I fully expect us to make it harder than it should be.

Not at all, but even if you see it that way, the truth is that I clearly wasn't anywhere near as quick as you and others were with the "no excuses" patter. Interesting then, that you were mocking my point elsewhere that we have fans who want Ally out so badly that they're just waiting on the opportunity to call for his head...

if we can get through this round and maybe bring in a couple of players in January(presumably if we can release a couple too) then there's no reason we shouldn't go all the way in the SC IMO
