Was just chatting to a mate who knows McCoist and he was saying that Templeton has been terrible in training. Glad he got the goal tonight but apparently he needs to buck up his ideas.

I have no inside info, but I agree with Ally,he has enough talent to take any of these defenders to the cleaners yet rarely does,if he wants to play in the starting 11 then he should get his finger out of his arse and make it impossible for Ally to leave him out!,simples.

I don't get much inside info either mate, but from what I have heard Templeton is not applying himself in training. The lad has talent but needs to work harder.

That is clearly evident when he plays!. I would like to see young Mckay get more game time as I believe he would give more to the team than Templeton is showing

Templeton will join the list of billy-big-baws from minor clubs who thought that they had made it when they joined Rangers - whereas real Rangers players understand that joining Rangers is only the beginning.

Templeton seems to think that he's too good for Div 2, or whatever the fuck we're calling it this week, but fails to realise that he's not playing for Div 2, he's playing for Rangers.

Daly is looking deadly up front.

He's getting stronger with each game.

It's good to see Templeton get on the score sheet with a composed finish but he is the one player in the team who should be shredding the opposition on a weekly basis. Hopefully he turns it on now and gives Ally no choice but to play him.

I'm getting a tad concerned about the nerves that seem to run through our team. It's been mentioned many times since last year that our players don't relax until we have the first goal. Now I know we showed great character against Brechin to overhaul their attempt, but it does worry me that the standard of player we have shouldn't be getting nervous at this level. Any half decent manager with a capable squad should look to strangle the game and cause our guys to get unsettled. I hope Ally has a plan B for that scenario when it arrives, because it will arrive.

Lastly, and just a small point possibly a nit pick, but the interviewer ( Who I don't have a problem with , I'm sure he's a great lad ) should relax and just have a chat with the big man, there were too many '' Ehhh '' in there. Just a small point mind.
