D'Artagnan 173
I fear the damage & carnage this individual will unleash without JT there to reign him in.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Not sure what he did bar a few OTT blog style opinionated articles on the official website which Green had him put out to cater to the masses. Hopefully he gets back on the radio because that was something tangible he did and was enjoyable to listen to.
amms 0
I wonder if he's got a confidentiality clause. be some book if he doesn't. I worried that Traynor would become the story when he joined and he did to an extent but I think he improved some of our output and from what I hear was a force for good inside the club.
BEARGER 1,830
Seemingly it's a cost cutting exercise, no laughing at the back!! Rangers board's spokesman says, "Directors are looking at a range of cost-cutting measures. Jim #Traynor's departure is part of that."

I can't see anything he did. Was he not Director of Communications? He presided over the most embarrassing PR the club has ever seen so how you say things improved I do not know.
aweebluesoandso 290
No surprise, when Walter walked his days were numbered.
amms 0
I can't see anything he did. Was he not Director of Communications? He presided over the most embarrassing PR the club has ever seen so how you say things improved I do not know. I think you are confusing that role with a PR role. His remit was to improve Rangers owned media channels - the Programme, Rangers TV and website - so they could make more revenue. I've no idea if they did make more revenue but the quality on them improved, in my opinion. I'd add that you've no idea if he improved our PR or not, you only know what did get reported, not what didn't. Think about it, almost all the bad stuff we generate and supply to the media ourselves.
