chilledbear 16
What you call a Legend. Signed when I turned a teenager, so it was a privilege to see him throughout his career at Rangers.
Scott7 6,504
It must have been great to receive a pass from Baxter. He gave you so much time and space you could boil a kettle before having to worry about the opposition.
chilledbear 16
Surprised the '63 at Wembley isn't on it. 'It's up to you Jim'
MikeN63 0
when you think about what we have now; a player can't fart in Scottish league two without it becoming a U-tube hit, but the coverage of Baxter is so limited, for a footballing legend. I just missed out on being old enough to witness his graceful skills first hand, though had a few beers in his bar at Paisley Road West when doing some work locally and saw him first hand on a few occasions, just to say I'd met Jim Baxter.
