Foster has been ineffective, I wish we had retained Mitchell and given him his chance at RB. He deserved it after last season, but seems to have been made the fall guy for the loss at Forfar, even though he only played 45 mins.

I wish McAusland would have kept his place since the start of this season. He had a few steady performances and didn't deserve to be dropped.

Nope, I'm advocating to rotate the central midfield partnership, starting with Macleod. He sure is an inspiration, but I vividly remember what happened to Fleck. Lewis has been ever present and IMHO needs the odd game out to a) keep his feet on the ground and b) get the chance to reload the batteries. We will be in dire need of his enthusiasm and freshness in months if not years to come.

Likewise, I wouldn't mind if we revert to an attack-minded 4-5-1 on away grounds on occasion (sic), with Little and e.g. Templeton take up winger/inside slots behind a centre forward.

As I said, the results show that Ally's tactics are merited, but is there real need to have 3 or 4 central midfielders when playing at Ibrox? For nigh 90 mins?

Ok I see where you are coming from and largely agree. Can't agree Black should be rotated out for Peralta just for the sake of rotation itself.

Black has surprisingly been one of our key performers this season even if he has had the odd bad ame. We don't really know whether Peralta is a right mid, right back or centre mid. What we do know is that he has been poor to fair in terms of average fan ratings whilst you would get almost unanimous agreement that Black has been at least good at centre mid. Can't justify throwing a poor right mid in for a good centre mid just because we hope the right mid may perform better there.

What could be done as a test though is substitute Black once in a while for say McKay and move Peralta in one.

At 5ft8, playing in Scotland, I am pretty sure that Peralta is definitely NOT a centre back
