the gunslinger 3,366
As I say if you don't pay any court fine then you go to jail. Kings transgressions are as such very different to Easdale.
BrahimHemdani 1
I think saying he's a convicted criminal is pushing it a bit. He will want a degree of control I expect. For example he may want 25 percent because then they can't sell the assets out from under him. He's been convicted of criminal offences on his own admission, does that not make him a convicted criminal? I guess it comes down to the individuals view on the crime. I have a speeding conviction. I suppose people could call me a criminal as well. I of course accept kings "crimes" are that bit more serious. Anything that only attracts a fine though doesn't really bother me. How serious can it really be. Even a big fine.
SteveC 150
Al Capone was also convicted of tax evasion. Would you equate everything he did to Dave KIng? No, not at all because Al C didn't eff about when he wanted something - he just took it. (only joking, King fans, only joking - he is our best hope, I know)

Anchorman 0
Who needs enemies? Don't we do just a grand job on our own?? Our 'support' stagger me at times.
ThatsWhyWeirChamps 0
The criminal charges against King were dropped. The section of the act he plead guilty to breaching involves lack of cooperation, providing false submissions (not fraudulent) and a host of others. None of which are fraud or tax evasion.
ThatsWhyWeirChamps 0
As I say if you don't pay any court fine then you go to jail. Kings transgressions are as such very different to Easdale. Easdale was convicted of VAT fraud. Fraud being the operative word. That's a criminal charge.
der Berliner 3,744
In my humble opinion, he should have stepped over his shadow and buy up shares during the summer, barring the hedge fonds et al to ammass support behind the "unwanted". That's the only "criminal" thing he did ... in my eyes.

Seems to me that the prospect of 82 years in jail was quite serious.
