The Real PapaBear 0
An magnificent example of how the sport should be played......if that sport is running around, chasing after where the football used to be 5 seconds before you got there for 90 minutes and then kicking people when they're lying on the ground. Even more magnificently, they managed to restrict Barcelona to a mere 82% of the possession - a huge improvement on the 88% Barcelona had last year. I'm looking forward to wee neil explaining how, despite being made to look like a shower of talentless tits for an hour and a half, Celtic were actually the better side, how Brown didn't deserve to be sent off for kicking Neymar in the back and how they can still qualify for the knockout stages.
ian1964 10,761
Cesc Fabregas was the match-winner, heading an Alexis Sanchez cross past Frather Forthter. The breakthrough for the Catalans only arrived after the Celtic captain Scott Brown had been sent off for a seemingly innocuous clash with Neymar. But the Brazilian's reaction perhaps clouded Stephane Lannoy's judgement as he reduced the hosts to ten men. Barcelona's victory may well have come regardless of Brown's dismissal, but it is tainted by the nature of the sending-off. As Neymar sped down the left, he was impeded by the Celtic captain, but the Brazilian's histrionics - writhing in apparent agony - duped the referee. At worst, Brown seemed to have needlessly flailed a foot that caught Neymar on the arm, but the French official felt it was worthy of a straight red card and off went Brown. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24353483

ian1964 10,761
2156: Celtic manager Neil Lennon talking to STV Sport "If there was any contact it was minimal... "We had two good chances before they scored and Charlie should've done better with the header. "Up until 75 minutes our goalkeeper had little to do and Valdes had made the better saves. "Neymar's a great player but sometimes he exaggerates things a little bit. "We felt comfortable in the game but unfortunately it wasn't to be." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24354036
