Anchorman 0
Taken from another forum from yesterday; Jim McColl and Paul Murray invited various fans groups to meet with them, to discuss the ongoing situation with our Club. This meeting took place today, and Jim McColl confirmed that he and the requisitionists have not walked away, and that they remain committed to board room change. Mr McColl said: “If the board think this has gone away, they are delusional. The issue has merely moved to the AGM. The requisitionists still want change, and have not wavered from this final objective” The fans groups remain committed to liaising with Mr McColl and shareholders in the run up to the AGM. http://www.twitlonge.../show/n_1rme0vu
der Berliner 4,042
It all grew utterly farcical when those on the board who should have talked (and apparently did so) with the requisitioners in a dignified manner ... took the to public with at times naiive claims and phrases.
aweebluesoandso 290
I think McColl has invested too much of his reputation for business acumen to simply just walk away now. He's in it to win it, but i think he has been badly advised. His approach seams wrong? in my humble opinion he should have tackled the current board and shareholders with a straight forward takeover plan, yes it would have cost millions. But down the line when everything would have all settled down, he could have approached the support again and certain individuals to re-invest, he would have got his outlay back with interest.

Zappa 0
Listened to the whole discussion with Paul Murray on Sportsound there and thought PM spoke really well. Considering he was put under a lot of pressure by English & Britney and asked a lot of tough questions, he came out well on top of it and said all the right things apart from a couple of minor slip-ups.
Super Cooper 0
McColls business empire will suffer no end if he gets directly involved with Rangers. Perhaps he knows this.
