If the shareholders en masse vote out one group and vote in another, we pretty much have to deal with it. A democratic vote is the best way forward and should be done relatively soon. I don't quite get why you think it should have been done by now, because the people I'd like to see removed were not going to go quietly or without a fight. I actually think the present set up is as bloodless as it could be, assuming it goes all the way. However, the people who replace them are often no better. I am certainly no admirer of our current board and would be happy to see the back of most, if not all of our existing board members. However, I would like to hear more from potential new board members, by way of explaining how they would improve things.
