Waltersgotstyle 307
He is training with QPR, he will be paid handsomely there if he impresses.
andy steel 0
Well, alright, I just meant that if players who were considered high enough quality to be in Arsenal, Spurs or Chelsea's youth set ups have become available, they might be worth a look. No doubt some have gone off the rails, or some will just have lost that extra whatever, but given our position and given theirs (out of contract) it seems like a decent enough idea.

But by the same token Andy..... Andy Mitchell came from Man City's set up - he hasnt managed to last with us by the looks of things - shame, as he did look a decent player, even out of position at RB.
andy steel 0
That I did not know. Possibly I have played too many seasons of FM, because in pre-season I usually fire out trials to any players out of contract. You can always sell someone on for a few pounds later on.
RANGERRAB 3,654
Now we're not signing either zaliukas or pandza how about going back & getting the young Left midfielder Sam kelly who was on trial & supposedly impressed last month. Our lack of natural left sided midfielders was again apparent last sunday with Steven Smith playing there. Give Kelly a contract until the end of the season. If he fails to get into the first team by then release him.

Great shout, everyone knows the funds are there so we can only assume if we don't go back for Kelly then Ally wasn't really that impressed.
