pete 2,499 Posted December 27, 2006 Share Posted December 27, 2006 Well I think we'll have to leave it there becasue I cannot see how you can deploy a sweeper in a flat back 4 and think Hemdani has been woeful at defending, in fact i'm not sure i;ve seen him doing nay. I think you will see with most good defences they set up a flat line and as the ball is being kicked one central defender drops back about ten yards. It would be suicide in my opinion to remain in a straight line as the strikers could sprint through the gaps with a touch on. It is time to put to rest though, and i will admit with the ball being kicked so far by the keepers these days the keepers will be used as sweepers soon. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
