Anchorman 0
I think it pretty much sums up what we've always known about King all along - he has serious money to invest, but only when all the corporate hangers on are out of the way and the money can go straight into the Club. Still good to see it straight from the horses mouth every now and again though. And before anyone comments "why should Ally be given any more money just now - we need to stop spending it". Dave King has stated all along that this Club needs to have money in reserve when the time comes to challenge that smug swarm over at Breezeblock Boulevard. He will ensure that there is the required level of financial governance with any investment he makes, which he has already clearly stated also. Personally I seriously hope that the day comes when I can take my hat off to the new King. And doesn't it have a much better ring to it than Green or Whyte?

I'm not sure anyone involved with the club when we hit record levels of debt should be back.
the gunslinger 3,366
even if they were also there when that debt was brought back to 7 million?
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
David Murray shifted the debt to another company. The debt returned. Jesus.

trueblue 64 57
It sounds like he had budgeted more than 45M to pay off SARS and still be in a position to take control of us. He seems to believe he has got off lightly, which can only be good for us. I like the plan of strict financial governance till we get back where we belong.

Zappa 0
The sooner we've got a guy like King with a controlling stake in the club, the better. I'd sleep a lot easier at night knowing a man like him was the owner rather than a bunch of chancers only interested in making money for themselves like we have at the moment.

We may have serious reservations over their background but should the Easdales be included amongst the chancers?
