Calgacus 8
but what's the point of people putting more money in, if it's just going to be wasted due to a lack of good governance?
ranger_syntax 4,330
"I’m not involved with the other group in any way," he insists. Unless anyone knows a reason why we shouldn't take him at his word then I guess we'll have to. The position that McColl/Murray are taking appears to be clearly differentiated from King.

The first stage of the plan would be to get Blin & Murray into the boardroom to replace the present incumbents. Stage two would be a second share issue underwritten by King (&maybe others) which will provide much needed funds for the club. That is what I genuinely believe will happen before the end of the year

Don't bank on it. He could just be jostling for position on the inside rails. He's letting the world know that neither side have men willing to invest, but guess what? He knows 'just the man'. Read his statement. What's the alternative for him if he wants involved, other than being part of the McColl team? Is he going to rally support from existing investors and form his own 'team'? I don't see it, and King is not the type to shout from the rooftops if he was planning a 'late run'. He's not going to go to anyone with a cap in hand. He has an ego like a lot of these guys and he knows they need him as much as he needs them if they both want to achieve their aims.
trueblue 64 57
The share price has been driven down intentionaly by McCollco. He has made it clear he won't invest himself, so who is he driving the share price down for. Only one anwer to me, King, no matter what they say in public. Dave king has chosen now to voluntarily settle with SARS because the end game has begun.
