chilledbear 16
Jim McColl has apologised to Craig Mather for a second time following comments made about the Rangers chief executive in an interview. The men are on opposite sides of a battle for control of the Ibrox boardroom, but Herald Sport understands the businessman has stressed again that he has no ill will towards Mather. McColl contacted Mather on Friday to apologise for some of the content of the interview. He has a since got in touch with the chief executive again, to further emphasise that he does not believe the content fully represented his views. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/mccoll-makes-another-apology.21990727 Somebody paste the full article please.

der Berliner 3,803
You would expect that all parties concerned go about their business like future Rangers boardroom people and directors would. Think before talking is included here, as is stopping any sort of mud-slinging.
Calgacus 8
The article is almost like some sort cryptic clue in a crossword puzzle!
bossy 0
I sense a softening in the position towards Mather which might see him staying on the Board and continuing as CEO while others are removed.
stewarty 2,060
Another olive branch by McColl? Lets see what Mather says next. Last couple of times he's issued a lengthy statement rubbishing his alleged or actual detractors.
Bluedell 5,679
Lets see what Mather says next. Last couple of times he's issued a lengthy statement rubbishing his alleged or actual detractors. He seems very aware and concerned about what people think of him. At the meeting with supporters 3 weeks ago he started the meeting saying he wanted to make a statement. I was looking forward to him explaining the issues with Green, or the directors or the club's financial position, but no, we got 5 minutes on why he didn't leave he stadoium to meet the fans earlier that week. Good that he's got his priorities right

Good that he's got his priorities right The more I see and read from and about Mather only serves to reinfoce my view that he is not capable of the job. A diligent manager and likeable chap he may be, but someone capable of being the figurehead of our club? Not for me.
TheTinMan99 0
Unless I see the words come out of one of their mouths, I'm taking everything with a large pinch of salt. Although, I will be very disappointed if Mather comes out the other side of this with his job intact.
