Gribz 966
Good piece of business by Palace. Speroni has been Palaces POTY for 2 seasons running but Alexander will be a capable No.2 and all the best to him. Id have preferred him to have stayed on at Ibrox on a new deal and thought he should still start as No.1 and let Bell try shift him but not to be.

He was far too expensive in wages for where we are in the leagues Gribz. With reduced revenue streams on all fronts the club really has to cut it's cloth accordingly.

Yes agreed, by new deal I meant on a far less amount than the 15k.
Zappa 0
Yes agreed, by new deal I meant on a far less amount than the 15k. He was offered a new deal, but we'll probably never find out the truth about what it was. There's rumours that it was a severely reduced wage and only a one year contract when he wanted a two year deal. I think he was probably a bit like Nacho and would have stayed on reduced wages, but wanted a 2 year contract for peace of mind. The irony is that after being without a club over the summer, he's eventually signed a 1 year deal, but I think you can be sure it'll be on significantly more money than we offered him. Best of luck to the guy at Palace anyway.
