BrahimHemdani 1
Martin Bain is currently a Director of Vicast Ltd a company he registered last October and Jacqueline Gourlay (the former sole Trustee of the Rangers Charity Foundation) and Bain's right hand woman at Ibrox, is the Head of Finance and Planning. One of the Directors of Vicast Ltd is a certain John McClelland OBE, lately Deputy Chair and sometime Chair of Rangers FC. McClelland is the current Chair of the Scottish Funding Council which promotes Further and Higher Education. On their website he lists his directorship of Vicast as a "significant shareholding in a private company which might give rise to a conflict of interest or trust." (in SFC). According to their web site Vicast Solutions include "An internet TV service bearing your brand’s identity (which) enables you to really engage your viewers and convert more site visitors into customers." and "Vicast offers the perfect solution for sports clubs, entertainment venues and events organisations. Live streaming and recordable live facilities make it simple to broadcast a match, sporting event, concert or performance." The other Directors of Vicast are: another former Rangers employee, Nicola Young and a certain Mr Paul Murray. This information is all publicly available.
Zappa 0
AJ for me. Not going to happen at this immediate moment. Longer term, possibly but suspect not. I don't think it will happen either Frankie but he is the type of person we need, good business credentials, experience, and a fan helps. Much as though his name might be suggested or go into the pot, I can't say I agree that he'd be an ideal candidate given that he stays and works in the USA. An ideal candidate for me would be someone based in the UK or at least close enough to the UK that he could be present at every meeting rather than having to rely on conference calls.
CammyF 8,521
If Martin Bain returns then my worst fears have been realise and I for one will never set foot inside Ibrox again. Cammy F
Acemcl 0
You do realise that the EGM requisition calls for the removal of Mather from the board but not as CEO of the business. It is actually the right move, as the CEO should not be on the club board as there will always be conflicts between business & footballing issues.

Cammy F I don't think you need have any fears of that. I am told that Walter suggested it after Green left but that Traynor and others advised against.
