BrahimHemdani 1
I just wonder if someone we know is being lined up for a return to the hot seat; but more on that anon.
Calgacus 8
safe to say he won't be going anywhere unless this charm offensive in london fails badly. I don't think I've ever been so depressed about the future of the Club - even in the midst of administration I was sure someone would buy it. I just hoped it would be the right people, but it wasn't.

No one (not even WS it seems) was there purely and simply for the good of the Club everyone just wanted a fast buck, some faster than others.

BrahimHemdani 1
Why do you say WS? Reputedly paid a large honorarium by Green (aka RFC) to take the job.
Calgacus 8
The IPO set out what the non exec Directors would be getting - I do remember there were some observations at the time, that it seemed rather generous.

I'm sure as a non-exec, Walter was to be paid around 30-40k per year. With his elevation to Chairman I would imagine that increased a bit. Given the level of responsibility I don't think that say £60-70k per annum would be unreasonable.
Frankie 8,843
I think Walter's non-exec salary was £40-50K per annum.

That being the case, £60-70k for the Chairman would be reasonable.
