der Berliner 4,047
Really folks. While it surprises me not that some "trialist" throws the hook, it surprises me how many fall for it.

If we had won the match this wouldn't happen, seems we are cannon fodder now
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Was it not Calderwood's Aberdeen that Thumped Bayern at Pittodrie ? Thumped them to a 2-2 draw? It was Copenhagen they thumped in Europe that year. PS - With regard to the OP, I have no doubt Calderwood is a far, far superior manager to Ally but that doesn't mean he's a particularly decent manager nor is he the man for the job. The guys an unemployed former SPL manager for a reason.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Jimmy Calderwood or Stuart McCall for me.By the way; a new and exciting philosophy would take about 5 years to fully implement - ain't gonna happen overnight with the arrival of a new manager 5 years? What on earth do you base that on? There's plenty managers who could come in and get the current squad playing decent stuff tomorrow. Nobody is expecting total football, just a basic game played correctly on the deck. Pass and move. Simple.
Dragosani 80
To get us back into the prem i would take Souness. I know he wouldn't be popular but for the job in hand, he would take no prisoners any player that he deemed not to be giving sa hundred percent would be out. plus if we did meet celtic, the idea of him going toe to toe with the goblin would be a great spectacle to see!
Zappa 0
How good would it be though to have a real Orange manager? Jimmy's tan means nothing to me. Any manager can get under a sunbed!

andy steel 0
Having listened to him during the lunch break of the cricket, I wouldn't mind seeing Gary Neville and/or his younger brother in place. But you're really looking at a desperate, older out of work manager who would be willing to overlook the destabilising guff from above. A bit like Hearts.
nokiss 0
Is Gus Poyet still unemployed? IF there was to be a change, he might be worth a look at. Seems to be held in high regard down south.
Super Cooper 0
Poyet would be an unbelievable appointment.
