simplythebest 0
I don't especially think Jon Daly has the skills to be a Rangers player, still he's better equipped for it than I am.
craig 5,199
He's probably more qualified than any of us for the job. Are you for fucking real ? Bluebell, for one, would run rings round Charlie in BOTH positions... And much as though I AM a modest person, I am also VERY certain that I have more appropriate skills than Chuck for both jobs. And, guess what.... I also think there ate others who would fulfill the position better than Green. I actually find it mildly amusing you hold him in such high regard. Tell you what,.... Tell me, just what relevant skills does he bring to the table for either position aside from te fact his chums have more than 50% of the shareholding ????
craig 5,199
so what. was it a choice between us and him But he isn't, trust me ! It is a pointless point.... He isn't better than any of us.... At least not a better choice than al, of us anyway...
andy steel 0
A question for those who understand the financials: With Charles inside the boardroom, does it make it easier or harder for whoever is eventually going to buy his group out to actually do so? It seems (from my position of ignorance) that if Charles & an ally of Paul Murray have that arena in which to get the deal thrashed out, it could actually push it along rather than hinder it. I mean, Charles/Zeus hold the shares whether he's inside or not, right?

Jon Daly IS a football player though.... Chuck isn't a shareholder relations professional.... Nor has the skills to do capital restructuring....

Being a consultant means little to be fair, he can still exert his influence as a shareholder.
andy steel 0
I had heard that he was hell bent on being reappointed as director, though.

Generally I'd say that it wouldn't make a huge amount of difference , although having access to information that could be passed onto prospective buyers may be useful.
