The German commentator said, I don't know if you can hear the 80.000 Rangers supporters singing but if you can, take it as a small example of what the German national team will be greeted with at Wembley on Tuesday evening.:flipa:

And DB talks about honest reporting in Germany.;)2

That was 40 years ago and at the time, the British - and not least Scottish support's chanting was looked upon with awe in Germany, West (as is here the case) and East. The reporting standards of the media varies, but at least we few over here give them pelters for any wrong-doing and usually they are willing to learn.

Last week, SpiegelOnline had a full article about the Green Brigade, handed in by a member who bemoaned the restrictive new rulings about the supports actions and singing, plus the heavy-handed policing (we remember that "march", which was also included). While it is all just "support of their Irish background, culture and folklore". No word on what they actually sing and support with their chants, of course. A mail was promptly sent.

I can still remember the faces of those Olympique Marseille chaps in 92/93, when we clawed back to a 2-2 draw and Derry's Walls was a wall of noise ... similar to this

Likewise, Sturm Graz came to Ibrox and where hammered by 50k people belting out "Simply the Best" and you saw their faces and knew what was running down their spine in that moment.
