I think we should just wait and see how Ally uses them!,maybe we are too quick to suggest the young players won't get much game time?.

 

You're probably right Ian. There's bound to be injuries throughout the season as there always are and Ally will do some squad rotation too.

The thing is, last season some were always complaining about certain players always getting a game, ''Allys' mates''!, now there is real competition for a starting berth so I would imagine players will need to perform well or they will be replaced, as is normal with a decent squad.

Yep, the competition should hopefully help a bit, although there's always going to be at least one or two players who Ally will keep fielding even when their performances drop in quality, such as Jig & the keeper. It's a bit of a weird one for me with Jig actually because I think overall last season he really surpassed my expectations, but I don't think any player should be beyond a stint on the bench if they're not performing well, even the captain.

He'll be shoe horned in somewhere and he's far to slow to play up front ahead of Daly and Clark.

 

I'm not so sure,Ally is no mug,he will pick the best team available and if that includes Jig then so be it.
